Planning for fit out...

As you would expect during the course of building, we've had to consider a bunch of stuff that requires some thought and planning.  We've all gone out and chosen tapware, flooring, toilets (real exciting) and shower screens.  At the same time, the boys have been working on other little things like skirting boards and electrical plans.

MOTH has fashioned version 1 of the skirting boards which will incorporate the power points, thus enabling the socket to be moved around the room perimeter as required, and preventing the potential need for holes to be punched (impractical for a straw bale wall) and cable installed each time one requires an additional power point.  Pretty clever, huh?

Internal walls of the stair areas have also been plastered and custom-made stairs were fitted this week.
